Rear Red Amber Dual color LED Running Light Turn Signal Smoke Lens 12 Volts Motorcycle Universal Blinker

I wanted to add two stop lights on either side of my stock taillight for added visibility. I tested many red/amber turn signals and this one works the best in many ways:

- Solid mounting: The M10 mounting stud is solidly molded into the plastic and has a metal stop when tightening down the nuts. Other units I tried have a simple threaded stud glued into the plastic, which is easily pulled out during installation with no solid stop when tightening.

- Moderate size: These are just the right size, similar to most OEM turn signals. They're not pinpoints of light but the right size to be noticed.

- Side viewing: The lens wraps around the housing slightly and the LEDs are easily viewed from the side, unlike many others which are best viewed directly to the rear. Side viewing can alert vehicles that may be beside you.

- No fancy effects: These just turn on and off, there's no unnecessary waterfall effect that is distracting and only delays the immediate full-intensity of the signal.

- Changeover function: The red LEDs turn off while the turn signal is activated and do not turn back on between flashes, so your turn signal will flash amber-off-amber-off. The red LEDs will turn back on when the turn signal is deactivated. Some other signals keep the red LEDs on and rely on the amber LEDs to visually overpower the red when blinking, so your turn signal will flash orange-red-orange-red.

- Low price: the price can't be beat for all these features. They're not CNC machined farkle jewels, but they do the job and do it well for a great price.
